Northwestern Toastmasters
perodically offers an
Improved Communications Seminar.

These seminars are comprised of eight sessions, They are comprised of both instruction and practice. They are designed to improve improve specific skills such as:
Introducing Others
Prepared Speaking
Listening
Speech Organization
Impromptu Speaking
Selecting Speech Topics
Constructive Evaluation
Use of Visual Aids
Group Discussion
Speech Language
Effective Use of Voice
Gestures and Other Body Language
Audience Analysis
Effective Use of Notes

The sessions are held for eight consecutive Tuesdays, starting at 6:30 pm.

Toastmasters International, a non-profit, educational organization, has been training members in improved communications and leadership techniques for more than 75 years, is the developer of this program.

Northwestern Toastmasters is the local sponsor of the program. The cost of materials for the program is $25 per participant. Any adult interested in improving his or her speaking, listening, and thinking skills is invited to participate.
